NBC's Today Show is going to be broadcasting from my station in Antarctica Monday and Tuesday morning starting at 7am. They are also broadcasting from other parts of the world so I'm not sure exactly when McMurdo Station will be airing. It should be an interesting chance to see some TV footage of what we do. A lot of the people down here are pretty interested on what an outsider will choose to broadcast after being here less than a week.

Saw the show this morning. I was surprised to see you in the background jumping around looking for your 15 minutes of fame. I guess everyone has a little Britney Spears in them huh? HAHAHAHA. The show was interesting. It looks really warm there so I don't know what you are talking about with cold feet. Maybe you need a doctor.

I'm confused, Jen. Dad and you both said you saw me. I have no recollection of being filmed or having even seen a camera. I've talked to the cameramen a bit, but I haven't seen their equipment. -Brody
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed the 2 days of the "Today" special. Really liked the ending in Antartica with the band. Learned alot of what they are trying to do the various places. Missed seeing you though. But then hadn't looked real hard as you said you were going to try to sleep after we talked. So glad you called!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGeez are you so cold that you didn't see right through my joke????? Sorry I missed your call, we had some friends up from Miami and I didn't hear my cell.
